Technically, I'm studying my technical writing course. Actually, I'm creating a blog, doing some Facebook, and contemplating studying my technical writing course. Nothing new...
I wrote a bunch of characters for my current novel idea on Thursday night at the Wayward "Type and Gripe" group I belong to. http://www.facebook.com/notifications.php#/group.php?gid=53162703785 I have since come up with a basic plot outline, which I find fairly boring. Last night on my way home from Kerry and Kevin's in Monroe, I was thinking about one of my very favorite movies for some reason--"Labyrinth"--and I thought it would be interesting to see what the main characters are up to NOW. That's Sarah, Toby (the baby brother), and Jareth (the goblin king). Since I sat down here to study my tech writing course, I have started writing characters for this new idea as well. I think this one is going to take off... :-)
Okay, I'm going to post this and turn OFF the internet button on my computer and study. Handy to have one of those little buttons...when you use the willpower in your little brain and actually USE it. :-)

ReplyDeleteI won't actually be buying one anytime soon...I do have a library card, I know where the bookstores are, and I still have books I haven't read on my shelves. And I'm hoping to borrow some from other people, too. I need to spend $360 plus tax paying some things off--like my mom, a credit card or two... You get the idea. Maybe I'll get a Kindle 3 when that comes out, as it inevitably will. :-)
