The plan.

Yes, that's right. I have a plan. It's a good plan, and it's getting even better.

It involves getting out of debt, mainly over the next 12 months. This will be tricky, given the amount of debt I have remaining, and the things I need to pay for to do it between now and then.

It also involves writing. Writing a lot. Writing fiction, writing journal entries, writing scenes, writing...everything.

I have friends who are at a convention here in Seattle (well, Redmond, technically) this weekend. They have all been published in one way or another, and I know that they spend a lot more time writing than I do. They're driven, and they find the time to write their stories, edit them, and submit them.

I have not, with the exception of two out of the past three years of National Novel Writing Month, been driven to do what I want to do more than anything--write, and get paid to do it.

The main point of the plan is to do this. Write. Write everything. Edit everything. Submit what can be submitted, and keep submitting until it happens.

The rest is just details.
